CANTERBURY CAR CLUB FORMED

The sporting car section of the Pioneer Motor Club at its first annual meeting, reconstituted itself as the Canterbury Car Club and decided to apply for affiliation with the newly-formed Association of New Zealand Car Clubs. Officers of the club were elected as follows:—patron, Mr J. O. F. Hamilton; president, Mr Cyril Hayward; vice-presidents, Miss R. Barry and Mr Berryman; club captain, Mr H. Croft; vice-captain, Mr I. Archibald; honorary secretary, Mr V. Neate; sports secretary, Mr H. Green; committee, Mrs H. Brewer, Messrs H. G. Bandy, L. Harrington, C. A. C. Ransley, J. Brewer, J. Trevor, and H. Wear; delegate to Association of New Zealand Car Clubs, Mr P. Hoare.
