LORRY DRIVER FINED £lO (P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 24. Two roasts of beef, of a total value of 7s Bd, which he stole while receiving an extra 10s a week as honesty money, led to the appearance in the Magistrate's Court of Mervyn Frank Hucker aged 30. a lorry-driver. The prosecution said that accused, who was employed by a meat distributing firm, stole the meat from a butcher’s shop in the early morning. He had the keys of so he could deliver the bulk meat in the early morning and received 10s a week as honesty money because of his position of trust. The accused, who pleaded guilty, was fined £lO, in default 21 days’ imprisonment. *
