CHARGE OF SELLING LIQUOR WITHOUT LICENCE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 23. For selling liquor without a licence the Otahuhu Returned Services’ Association was fined £5 by Mr J. Morling, S.M., in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court. The police stated that the association held a smoke concert, for which five shillings admission was charged. After the concert a Maori who was arrested for alleged burglary admitted having been at the gathering. He was intoxicated.
