MOSCOW RADIO’S COMMENT

“U.S. INTERFERENCE IN INDONESIA” (Rec. 1.30 aan.) MOSCOW, July 22. The resumption of hostilities in Indonesia was the first result of the extension of the Truman doctrine to Indonesia, said the Moscow radio to-day. “The United States Note which the American Consul-General handed to the Indonesians during the negotiations with the Dutch is open interference in Indonesian affairs and direct support of the Netherlands colonial regime,” said the radio.

It added that the Cheribon agreement which ended hostilities in March was “apparently a Dutch manoeuvre to gain time to bring up forces.”
