DISABLED SERVICEMEN’S CLUB A decision to apply for affiliation with the Christchurch Bowling Centre was taken at the first annual meeting of the Disabled and Ex-Servicemen’s Bowling Club held last evening. There was a good attendance of members and intending members. It was decided to close the membership at 100. Officers were elected as follows:—patron. Colonel James Murphy; president, Mr W. E. J. Maxwell; vice-president, Mr L. Harwood; Disabled Servicemen’s League representative. Mr A. S. Rusden; secretarvtreasurer, Mr W. H. Faulkner; executive, Messrs A. Beckett. R. Israelson. F. Hickinbotham, F. Harper, and B. A. Sommerfeld; selectors, Messrs B. A. Sommerfield and R. Israelson; green supervisor, Mr B. A. Sommerfeld; match committee, Messrs L. Harwood, R. Israelson. and A. Rusden; delegate to the Christchurch Bowling Centre, Mr A.bßusden.
