COURSING
WATERLOO CUP MEETING The New Zealand Waterloo Cup meeting was opened on the Sockburn Plumpton, Factory road, yesterday, and will be continued to-day and to-morrow. Dogs from all parts of New Zealand are competing, and some excellent coursing was seen yesterday. The meeting is being conducted by the Christchurch Coursing Club. Mr W. Robson is the judge. Results of yesterday’s coursing were as follows: First Round.—Pride of the Valley beat Desert Victory, Imperial Lady beat Bronze Eagle, Lord Nelson beat My Bonnie, The Blonde Sailor beat James Minda, Beauvallett beat Mairehau Lad, Conspicuous beat Royal Doulton, Master Robin beat Sea Mist, Johnny beat Princess Betty, Royalty’s Best beat Royal Salute, Harewood Lass beat Black Worry, The Crofter beat Victory Lass, Don Pedro beat Bancor, Red Buttons beat Rio Rita, Mum’s Pal beat Sir Percy, Atomic Tracer beat Kitty’s Hope, Just Red beat Gay Luna, Pacific Flyer beat White City, Jowett Wyn beat Atomic Power, Buster Brown beat Cheetah Lad, Wayland Dan beat Revue, Crackshot beat Flight Sergeant.
