SIX GRADUATES IN ONE FAMILY To-day in the Civic Theatre, two sisters, daughters of Mr and Mrs William Anderson, Chapter street, will have university degrees conferred upon them by the pro-chancellor of the,. University bf New Zealand (Sir James Hight). They ate adding to a splendid record of academic achievement in their family, for of the eight sons tuld daughters of Mr and Mrs Anderson, six have gained university degrees. Those io be capped to-day are Mrs E. H. Hyslop (formerly Miss Edna Anderson) and Miss Vera Anderson. Mrs. Hyslop, Who is already a Master of Arts and who holds the post Of visiting teacher in Christchurch for (he Canterbury Education Bbard, will receive her diploma of education today, and Miss Vera Anderson will.receive her B.A. degree. Another sister, Mrs A. Kitto (formerly Miss Evelyn Anderson) is a Bachelor of Arts, and has gained the diploma of social science. She is now senior assistant at the Petone Technical High School. Another sister, Miss Coral Anderson, is a Master of Arts, and she, like Miss Vera Anderson, is a member of the staff of the Christchurch Technical High School. •Two brothers, Mr Harry Anderson, district transport officer at Dunedin, and Mr Andrew Anderson, headmaster of the Otira school, both hold university degrees. The former is a Bachelor of Commerce, and Mr Anderson, at Otira, is a B.A. >
