MILK BOTTLES

Sir,—Can you advise me whether the milk bottles in use by the Devonvale Dairy Company are larger than the correct measure? Our milkman is consistently leaving much less than our regular order, often over half a pint less. He says that the bottle we use for a measure is over-size. Surely a large company cannot afford to give a quarter of a pint with every Dint ordered. If the bottles I have been using are not correct size could you advise me where to get a legal measure he cannot dispute?—Yours, etc., MONEY BUT NO MILK. May 6. 1947.
