CANON F. B. REDGRAVE
FAREWELL BY FENDALTON SCHOOL PUPILS Canon F. B. Redgrave, who for the last 17 years and a half has given Scripture lessons for the pupils of the Fendalton Open-Air School, and who is leaving on retirement, was bidden farewell yesterday by the pupils of the school. Mr G. A. G. Connal, president of the Parent-Teachers’ Association, and Mr A. R. Blank, headmaster of the school, spoke in appreciative terms of the service Canon Redgrave had given to the school over a long period. On behalf of the pupils, Angela Connal presented Mr Redgrave with a cheque and Mrs Redgrave with a bouquet. The school choir sang farewell songs.
