LONDON, April 15. The “Daily Express” says that a cut in the fresh meat ration is almost certain at the end of June. At present 4d worth of the weekly meat ration must be taken in corned beef. This may be increased to 7d or 8d worth if the forecast of a shortage of British supplies made by Sir Henry Turner, Controller of the Live Stock Division of the Ministry of Food, is correct.
