ST. OSMUND MEN’S SOCIETY
21ST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED
The Society of St. Osmund, the men s Society of the Parish of St. Michael and All Angels, celebrated the twentyfirst anniversary of its foundation last week-end.
The Holy Eucharist was sung in the parish church on Saturday morning, and the members later entertained the clergy and laity from kindred societies at morning tea.
At the reunion dinner in the evening the guests of honour were, the warden, the Rev. C. E. B. Muschamp, the Ven. Archdeacon F. N. Taylor, and three of the foundation members, Messrs S. G. Lamport, S. R. Cuming and C. G. DeC. Drury. A social followed in the club-room.
On Sunday, Solemn Guild office was sung in the church by members of the society, and the guest speaker at the club meeting after evensong was Archbishop West-Watson.
