TRANSPORT APPEAL DECISIONS

Sir, — I have been anxiously awaiting a decision in appeal against a licence granted by No. 3 Licensing Authority in November last, and do not know from whom I may inquire. Will you please advise me whether or not the Appeal Authority and the Licensing Authority have secretaries who might be able to enlighten me? Also, I should like to know the position of the Commissioner of Transport and his officers in the matter of appeals against decisions of a Licensing Authority.—Yours, etc., JUSTICE SHALL NOT BE DELAYED. April 14, 1947. [This letter was referred to the District Officer of Transport (Mr C. D. Pedersen), who said: “If the correspondent cares to call on me I shall be only too pleased to give him any information and assistance.’’]
