TRIBUTES TO MR D. G. SULLIVAN

“For many years up to the time <4 his death Mr Sullivan was a member of this association, and both in bis private and public life took an active interest in its work, befriending it m many ways. His interest in the wont the association was endeavouring to do among the youth of the community was deep and sincere He lowed an annual meeting to pass without sending a cordial message of goodwill and appreciation, and we shall miss his encouragement," said Mr L. Hay, president of the board or directors of the Christchurch YMCA, last evening, when a meeting of the board expressed regret at the death of Mr Sullivan. , Sympathy with the relatives of Mr Sullivan, and with the Prime Minuter (Mr Fraser) and his colleagues in their loss, was expressed in a motion passed last evening by the executive of the South Island Motor Union. Reference to the death of Mr Sullivan was made by the chairman, Mr H. S. S. Kyle, at yesterday's meeting of the Board of Governors of Unco n College.
