POOR WALNUT CROPS ON PENINSULA
The walnut crop on Banks Peninsula will probably be one of the poorest for years. Most trees have few nuts, and the late season is retarding development, with the result that few nuts have been harvested. It is thought that late frosts in the spring affected the nuts.
