FORMER ITALIAN COLONIES
CONFERENCE IN LONDON (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, March 19. The British Government has invited the United States, Russia, and representatives of France to a conference in London on the future of the former Italian colonies in North Africa, say|s Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent. A commission, after the conference, will probably go to North Africa to investigate. The Foreign Ministers at New York failed to agree on the future of the b colonies, and decided to appoint rep‘resentatives to inquire and report within a year of the ratification of the Italian peace treaty. The London conference may be held soon after Easter.
The United States has already accepted the invitation.
