BOOKMAKERS AND RADIO STATION

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 20. The direct telephone line between a Wellington broadcasting station and the Dominion Sportsmen’s Association has been removed. Invited to comment, the Post and Telegraph Department said it would not be fair to give any information regarding any work aone for any client, and that any information should come from the broadcasting authorities. Professor J. Shelley, Director of Brohdsasting, had no comment to make on the removal of the line. “We just don’t want it, that’s all,” he said.
