PRODUCING ELECTRIC POWER
USE OF FORCE OF SEA (Rec. 8 p-m.) LONDON, March 17. The Moscow radio reported that tests in using the force of the sea to produce electric power have been successfully made at Leningrad. The apparatus consists of a generator in a drum anchored in the sea. The drum, when the tide reaches a certain level, begins to rotate, setting the generator in motion.
