WOMEN’S COUNCIL TO BE FORMED A decision to form a Dominion Bowling Council for women was made at a meeting, in Christchurch yesterday by delegates of clubs attending the annual tournament of the Christchurch Ladies’ Bowling Centre. It was stated that at the meeting of the centre in Timaru next year, further plans for the formation of the council would be brought .forward. SPREYDON WOMEN’S CLUB Winners of club competitions at the Spreydon Women’s Bowling Club were:— Singles, Mrs Paul; pairs, Miss Goodwin and Mrs Wilkins; fours. Mesdames Paul. Nicholl. Wilkins, and Brandon.
