Mulloy and W Talbert, were eliminated in the quarter-final of the Australian doubles championship by the Victorian pair. C. Long and L. Brodie, 4- 8-6. 6-1, 6-2. Talbert had not recovered from an attack of diabetes ac the week-end. J. Bromwich and D. Pails (N.S.W.) and T. Brown and Mulloy (U.S.A.) entered the semi-finals of the men’s singles.
