FOOD PROBLEMS IN GERMANY
MR HERBERT HOOVER TO INVESTIGATE WASHINGTON, January 21. A United States War Department official disclosed that the former President of the United States, Mr Herbert Hoover, has been asked to undertake a survey of food problems in the American and British occupation zones of Germany. Mr Hoover will investigate Government control, crops, black markets, food collection, and general requirements.
