FOOD AND FAT FOR BRITAIN
Sm Speaking on food and fat for Britain the other day, Mr Fraser said that he wished and hoped the saving ana sending would continue. So far so good. Now. if Mr Fraser and his colleagues rihe Government) were so sincere about it they would do their part as well by diverting the milk from schools to the factories and turning it into butter and cheese. It would mean thousands of tons a month extra for Britain or other parts of Europe where it is badly needed, especially now that dripping is in short supply. With our unprecedented prosperity and the fear from want eliminated and since we are claimed to be the healthiest race in the world. I am sure that we could do without the milk in schools.—Yours, etc., T REMEMBRANCE. January 22, 1947.
