UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT TO REFLOAT THE WANGANELLA.—The Wellington tugs Terawhiti and Toia trying to pull the Wanganella off Barrett’s reef. This photograph was taken at high tide on Monday afternoon. Just off the bow of the Terawhiti (on the extreme right) is the new Barrett’s reef buoy. Further efforts to refloat the liner were made yesterday, but without success.
