DE GASPERI CABINET RESIGNS (Rec. 7 p.m.l ROME, Jan. 20. Mr de Gasperi, the Italian Prime Minister, has resigned to clarify the political situation because of the divis-
ion in the Socialist group and the attitude of the Republican Party. Mr de Gasperi said that the other three parties agreed with his move for “clarification.” Later the President (Mr Enrico de Nicola) accepted the de Gasperi Govresignation.
