CHAUTEMPS TO BE TRIED
FORMER FRENCH VICEPRESIDENT (Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS, January 20. Camille Chautemps, who was VicePresiderit of France in 1940, will be tried by the French High Court of Justice in his absence for “endangering the external security of the State.” It is understood that charges of high treason have been dropped. Chautemps is at present living «in Washington.
