EXPLANATION ACCEPTED
RUNNING OF BROAD ATLANTIC (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, Jan.’2l. The stewards of the National Hunt Committee have accepted the explanation of the Hon. Dorothy Paget regarding the running of Broad Atlantic at Windsor Park meeting. A cable message received last week stated that the stewards of the Windsor Racing Club were not satisfied after hearing evidence from Miss Paget, from a representative of the trainer, and from the jockey as to the running of Broad Atlantic at the Windsor meeting earlier this month, and that they had referred the matter to the National Hunt Committee for inquiry.
