N.Z. Refrigerating Company.—The directors Of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd., will recommend a dividend of per cent, for the year ended October 31, 1946. Recent dividends have been at 51 per cent, per annum. • The annual accounts and the directors’ report will be issued to shareholders soon. Christchurch Gas Company.—The board of directors of the Christchurch Gas Company, Ltd., at a meeting yesterday, declared a final dividend of 3 per cent., making 5 per cent, for the year ended December 31. 1946. The share transfer books of the company will be closed from February 14 to February 28, inclusive. New Dunlop Companies.—Two new companies. Dunlop Chemicals Pty.. Ltd., and Dunlop Semtex Pty.. Ltd., formed bv Dunlop Rubber Australia. Ltd., have been registered in Melbourne, each with a nominal capital of £lOO.OOO. Both companies will be completely owned and operated by Dunlop Rubber. Dunlop Semtex will manufacture surface material for buildings, walls, and floors. Dunlop Chemicals will manufacture and deal in chemicals of all kinds.
