Food Parcels for Britain.—The Christchurch Returned Services’ Association will send 50 food parcels a month to families in Britain, the parcels to be distributed by the British Legion’s Leeds Group Committee The executive of the association last evening received two letters from the secretary of the Leeds group thankine it for its offer and stating that the committee would make arrangements to distribute the parcels to the most deserving cases. A sub-committee, comprising Messrs C. Miln. E. Orchard. H. E. Batchelor, and J. A. Grigor, was set up to make arrangements for the packing and sending of the parcels.
