THREE FOURS CONTEST Shirley beat St. Albans and Sydenham beat Barrington in matches for the Christchurch Bowling Centre’s three fours championship played last evening. In the results which follow, the name of the skip on whose greens the match was played, is given first:—Shirley v. St. Albans: Kay 27, McNab 6; Ramsay 17, McDonald 17; Rowland 20. Penlington 13. Sydenham v. Barrington: Kersley 22, Cooper 11; Henry 24, Clarke 14; Dewar 25, King 9. ELDERLY BOWLERS’ MATCH The second round of the Williams Cup competition for elderly bowlers was played at the Shirley greens between teams representing the Shirley and Edgeware Clubs yesterday. Edgeware won by 29 points to 12 The teams, with ages, were as follows: Edgeware: F. Leach (82 years), H. Smith (76), J. Carmine (80) and J.. Hayman (s) (83). Shirley: T. O’Farrell (85 years), G. Wilson .(86). J. Douglas (84), and T. Cherry (s) (79).
