MAIL DELIVERIES

Sir, —Perhaps “No Hurry’s” letter may have been posted in the “overseas” box. If so, she can be sure of receiving it some time. Before Beckenham was well known, and our new home was in Fisher avenue, a post-card was posted in Christchurch to me, addressed Fisher street, Beckenham. About six months later it arrived from England, after a trip to Beckenham, England, and all for a 2d stamp. I considered it very good work of the postal staff to take so much care of a post-card.—Yours, etc.. January 14, 1947.
