Death Sentences Demanded REFERENCES TO AMBASSADOR (N.Z. Frnsa Association—Copyright) (Hee. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 13. cwrespondent of “The Times” in Warsaw says the prosecutor, in demanding the death sentence for the three male accused in the trial of Count Ksavery-Grocholski and others on charges which include betraying to a foreign Power, declared: 'The tracks of these spies lead straight to the doors of a certain Ambassador who transgressed against the elemenW rples of relations between two friendly States. "It was certainly not the intention of,the Government that sent this Ambassador here that he should accept information from members of the Polish underground, as a . result ci which he walked into the hands of the securpoiiff° 11Ce liaison “We have a high esteem for the nation represented by the Ambassador, and it is with greater regret that I am obliged to say that State is involved. pur people are busy rebuilding their country, and we must assume the Ambassador slipped into false ways because he does not understand the new Poland, a Poland without counts and big estates.’’ The Court ha? announced that it will sentence Count Ksavery-GrocfioJ-sfci on Tuesday.
