BLUM ANNOUNCES NEW CABINET
PARIS, December 16. Mr Leon Blum, the French Socialist leader, has formed a Cabinet with himself as President, Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Mr Blum, in announcing the Cabinet, said that he had formed a Government at all costs because a continuation of the crisis would have been fraught with peril for the ipstitutions of the French Republic. Portfolios in the Cabinet have been allocated as follows: Minister of National Defence—Mr le Troquer. Minister of the Interior—Mr Edouard Depreux. , Unfler-Secretary for Foreign Affairs —?Mr Pierre Lapie. Minister of State —Mr Guy Mollet and Mr Augustin Laurent. Minister of Justice — Mr Paul Ramadjer. Minister of Planning—Mr Felix Gouin. Minister of National Economy and Finance—Mr Andre Philip. Minister of Agriculture— Mr Pierre Tanguy-Prigent. Minister of Industrial Production— Mr Robert Lacoste. Minister of Education —Mi Marcel Naegelen. Minister of Works and Transport— Mr Jules Moch. Minister of Overseas Territories —Mr Marius Moutet. Minister of Labour— Mr Daniel Mayer. Minister of Post and Telegraphs—Mr Eugene Thomas. Minister of Health and Population— Mr Pierre Segelle. Minister for Veterans and War Victims—?Mr Max le Jeune. •
