Memorial to British Troops in
Greece.—General Alexander Papagos, the Greek Commander-in-Chlef during the war has launched an appeal for contributions from the Greek people to a fund for the erection of a monument to members of the Imperial Forces killed in Greece during the war. The first donor Was the Cinema Union, which decided to give one day’s gross receipts from cinema theatres throughout Greece.—London. September 19.
