GENERAL ELECTION
LABOUR CANDIDATE FOR HAURAKI (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept 20. Mr John William Neate has been selected as the official Labour Party candidate for the Hauraki seat. He took up ferming at Ngatea after serving in World War 1, and contested the Waikato seat in 1938. He was the official Labour candidate for Waitbmo at the last election, but he did not enter the contest.
