ARABS PREPARE FOR ACTION
“ COMBATING JEWISH
TERRORISM ” (Rec. 7 pm.) JERUSALEM, Sept. 18. Reliable Arab sources at Jerusalem say that the Najada, the most powerful of Palestine’s three Arab armies, has, placed itself at the disposal of the Arab Executive for “direction in combating Jewish terrorism.”
The Jerusalem correspondent of the Associated Press says that this move follows the Jewish terrorist raid against the Ottoman Bank at Jaffa on September 13, in which five Arabs were killed.
The authorities in Jerusalem have released from prison on medical grounds the Revisionist leader, Wolfgang von Weisel, after his 18 days’ hunger strike. Von Weisel announced that he refused to call off his hunger strike because he was liable to be detained again “as soon as my health permits.”
