NATURE STUDY IN SCHOOLS
PERSONNEL OF CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE

The personnel of the consultant# committee which is considering the nature study and general science syllabus for primary schools is announced in the “Education Gazette.” The committee, which will hold its sittings in Christchurch, will consist of the* following members:--chairman, Mr D Mackay principal, Christchurch Teachers’ Training College. Representing the Education Department: Mr G. V. Wild senior inspector of technical schoolsMr L. LeF. Ensor, inspector of secondary schools; Mr J. L, Ewing, editor of school publications. Representing the New Zealand Educational Institute: Mr J. A. Glen, Christchurch South Intermediate School: Mr r. A Heyward.
