VISIT OF FRIGATE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 19. . The comffiariding officer of H.M.S. Whiteland Bay, a frigate attached to the BiitiSh Pacific Fleet, which arrived in Wellington to-day from Nelson. Lieutenant-Commander B. C. Longbottom R.N.. pdid calls oh the Governor-General (Sir Bernard Freyberg). the Mayor (Mr ,W. Appleton), members of the Naval Board, and the chairman of the Harbour Board this morning. These calls were returned this afternoon.
The frigate will leave. Wellington on Monday foY a visit to New Plymouth before returning to her station at Hong Knng
