Last week 239 places in the Dominion obtained their quotas of national savings investments. All the cities and larger towns were again successful, -and in each of the 20 postal districts the full district quota was subscribed. Special achievements were recorded at Rai Valley (in the Blenheim district), Patumahoe (Auckland district), and Waverley (Wanganui district), where the full year’s quotas have been obtained, making five such successes achieved within the first'five weeks .of the new campaigning year.— (P.S.S.)
