AVONDALE CLUB The following four pairs tied in a stableford aggregate handicap played at the Avondale Club's links during the weekend: A. E. Ison (5) and C. G. M. McGonagle (15) 65, A. L. A mixed' foursome, held 4n conjunction with the qualifying rounds of the Scales Cup and the Lewis Trophy, was won by J. W. McCabe and Mrs McCabe. The following qualified in the Scales Cup: J. W. HAGLEY LADIES’ CLUB The following were the best scores in a Ladies’ Golf Union medal match played recently by the Hagley Ladies’ Golf Club: Seniors. Miss E Stewart 90, 16—74; Mrs J. G. Johnston 94, 17—77. Juniors: Mrs F. Tucker 106, 27—79.

The monthly bogey match resulted:— Seniors: Mrs E. C. Vaughan (12), 1 down; Miss M. Donaldson (11), 4 down. Juniors: Mis E. M. Hutchinson (14), 3 down;. Mrs L. S Smith (16), 3 down. The semi-finals of the Bean Cup matches were played and the results were:— Seniors: Mrs N. S. Cramond beat Miss J. C. Macdonald; Mrs E. C. Vaughan beat Mrs J. G. Johnston. Juniors: Mrs R. A. P. Francis beat C. D. Dallison; Mrs F. Tucker beat Mrs W. J. McCullough.
