MAJOR RUBY CATHERINE RUSSELL, of the Salvation Army, who has died in Christchurch after a long illness. Most of Major Russell’s service in the Salvation Army was devoted to work among children, and from March, 1939, to May, 1945, she was matron of a home in Hamilton.
