DISTURBANCES IN PUNJAB
HINDUS AND MOSLEMS CLASH
(Rec. 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 2. "Three persons were killed, two by stabbing, in clashes between Hindus and Moslems at Multan,” says Reuter’s correspondent at Lahore. “A four days’ curfew from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. has been imposed, shops throughout the city have been closed, and extra police have been drafted.”
