NEW ZEALAND TEAM
SELECTION ANNOUNCED The New Zealand team selected by Messrs J. L. Kerr and W. M. Wallace to play Australia at Wellington at the end I of this month was announced last night by the secretary ot the New Zealand Cricket Council. Twelve players have been selected, one to be dropped to twelfth man on the morning of the match. The management committee of the Cricket Council has appointed W. A. Hadiee, Otago, captain of the team. The team is as follows: P. £ Whitelaw (Auckland) V J. Scott (Auckland) W. M. Wallace (Auckland) J. Cowie (Auckland) D C Cleverley (Auckland) C. C Burke Auckland) W A. Hadlee (Otago) C. G. Rowe (Wellington). E. W. T. Tindill 'Wellington) D. A. N. Mcßae (Canterbury) L. A. Butterfield (Canterbury) W. McD. Anderson (Canterbury)
