POINTS FROM OTHER LETTERS
“Must These Things Be?” writes: 'I wish I had the courage to volunteer m place of the animals on the 'target ship.' Are there not enough - voices in the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to make a protest against an experiment which sounds neither commercially necessary nor pacific?”
“A Lover of Peace” thinks a law is necessary for protection against noisy neighbours. The writer cites the example of a neighbour who uses a hammer "until dark at night and sometimes later. Sundays included.”
