NEW BRIGHTON T.C.

TO-MORROW’S PROSPECTS The winners are well concealed in the large fields which make up the programme of the New Brighton Trotting Club’s meeting to be held at Addingon' to-mor-row, and this should provide trotting enthusiasts with one of the most interesting day’s sport enjoyed for some time. The main event, the New Brighton Handicap, has attracted 15 acceptors, ana of these Loyal Peter, Lucky Loval, Cameronian. Loyal Nurse, Navigate, Scottish Lady, Dundee Sandy, Turco, and Scott Axworthy are all worthy of serious consideration, The quick-beginning Loyai Peter, with three wins in his six starts to his credit, may be selected, as the actual favourite, and if he gets away safely he should give his supporters an excellent run for their money. Lucky Loyal is inclined to drift in the early part of his races, but if he can be kept up to hi* field at the start he should be prominent at the end, as his finishing runs have been the feature of his races. Cameronian has the ability to win if he leaves the mark smoothly, and a win for him would not surprise. Scottish Lady has been consistently in the money and providing her Auckland trip has not affected her she should at least earn some of the minor money. On paper the field appears evenly matched, and this should prove one of the best races of the season. The weather is fine and the track should be fast.
