PLANS OF TASMAN AIRWAYS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 13. After a recent meeting of the board of directors of Tasman Empire Airways. Ltd., held in Sydney, an offer has been submitted to the United Kingdom, Australian, and New Zealand Governments, through the Tasman Air Commission to operate a Pacific service to and from the United States, in conjunction with the present trans-Tasman service. The company, in announcing this, said that its policy is to use British machines as soon as suitable aircratt are available, but meantime the services would be operated by American machines of Douglas manufacture (Skymaster type).
