OBITUARY
VERY REV. DR. J. CUMMING (P.A.) DUNEDIN, February 13. The death occurred to-day after a long illness of the Very Rev. Dr. James Cumming, a former Moderator of the Presbyterian General Assembly. He was a son of the Rev. A. Cumming, and was born in Aberdeenshire. Scotland. After his arrival in the Dominion about 1892, he was called to the pastorate of the Cromwell Presbyterian Church. Seven years later he accepted a call to Waikiwi, Southland, and in 1913 he accepted a call to the church at Khandallah. He was later appointed to the chair of Hebrew and church history in Theological Hall, at Knox College. Dr. Cumming retired at the end of 1928.
