Strong Textile Fibre.—Britain has produced a stronger artificial textile fibre than nylon, according to Professor W. T. Astbury, head of the textile and physics laboratory at Leeds University. He said the new material, which the firm British Celanese, Ltd., was producing, was called fortisan.
