MAGISTRATES COURT At a sitting of the Lyttelton Magistrate's Court .yesterday, John Limond, a seaman from the tanker Dolabella. was convicted of having used obscene langauge and was fined £2. James Crllley. a seaman' from the same ship, was charged with committing mischief. He was convicted and fined 10s and ordered to pay costs 255. .' _ Licensing Committee
The quarterly meeting of the Lyttelton Licensing Committee was held yesterday. An application' for a transfer of ' the licence of 'the Albion Hotel, Lyttelton, from Charles Edwin Quested to Charles Douglas Varnham, was granted. Waterside Workers' Rooms /
