D. J. Parsons describes the Land Sales Act as “one of the greatest attacks on the freedom of the individual which could Possibly be made." Sales of land, he says, are “a business of give and take and no one wants some official muddling in the transaction.”
“A Lover of Children" asks why plead tor money for health camps “in our wonderfully blessed country, which has plenty of fresh air, sunlight, fruit, and vegetables, etc?” The writer quotes Dr. Ulric Williams as saying that “the proper place for health camps is in the homes of the people.” She would like to see the money sent to Europe to help feed and clothe destitute children.
Old Faithful” refers to Professor Gilbert Murray’s “ability to describe in detail a variety of incidents proving the power and accuracy of telepathy, and pointing out its great field of practical usefulness.’ The writer says that Professor Murray “has made a. great advance in this power.”
