GENERAL SLIM’S NEW POST
(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Dec 3. The commander of the 14th Army in Burma, Lieutenant-General Sir William Slim, has been appointed commandant of the Imperial Defence College.
Representatives of the Dominions, India, and the three services will attend the first post-war course next spring at the college.
