CHIVERS-On September 21, 1945, at Christchurch, Kate Elizabeth, dearly beloved wife of Oscar John Chivers, and loving mother of Gladys and Cedric; in her 71st year. GOULD-Cn September 21, 1945. at his residence, 80 Oxford street, Ashburton, Robert, dearly loved husband ot Frances Annie Gould; aged 67 years. (Suddenly.) JACK—On September 19, 1945, at Hlllmorien, Peter, beloved father of James. Peter, Alex, Mrs Smith, Mrs Pike. Mrs Petrie, and Mrs Beattie. A patient sufferer at rest. LEECH-On September 20, 1945, at Christchurch, William Robert, dearly loved hushand of the late Flora Edith Leech. 41 Walpole street, Opawa, and loved father of Leslie and Shirley: In his 73rd year. MANNING—On September 21, 1945, at Christchurch Hospital, Rodney MaurTce. dearly loved younger son of Ruby and Alan Manning, Springston, and much loved brother of Valmai and Derrick, aged 2 years 9 months. McDOUGALL—On September 21, 1945, at Christchurch, Alexander, loved husband of the late Lctitia Graham McDougall, and loved father of Jack and Jim; in his 87th year.. (Late of Kaiapoi.) McNAB—On September 21, 1945, at St. George’s Hospital, Peter, beloved husband .of Annie McNab, Ohoka road. Kaiapoi, and loved father of Peter; aged 60 years. SMITH—On September 21, at Christchurch, Ada Emily Smith, of 10 Peterborough street, widow of Robert Smith, formerly of Invercargill.
